  • "wall of sound" is a misnomer when it applies to monophonic sound, it is more like "porthole of sound." but this stereo version comes much closer to a real wall of sound, IMHO. btw, what is the whistling in the background?

  • @BruceTheSillyGoose hi bruce the whisting is down to the old tape noise and is impossible to remove with audio cleaning

  • Good work......but : were is the "wall of sound" ?

  • @elessarnet the "wall" would be on the left channel but due to splitting the track and adding studio backing track to right channel the impact isnt so present

  • Wonder if Bill, I mean Phil was foolin' around with my sisters.

  • Think Amy Winehouse stole some dance moves from these gals.

  • still a valient effort, john :) it is just such work which the record company in charge of future [post-spector] stereo reissues will have to utilize for their product. it wouldn't surprise me one bit if the stereo multitrack production masters are already gone.
