I had mine running for 4 hrs, and out of the 3 bulbs, just 1 died. the fan kept up with its job!
-
why does it need duty cycle when it has a built-in fan in it?
-
Is the fan on back supposed to kick in right away when you turn the unit on or after its been on for a while?
-
Very nice effect, but unreliable as hell

if you live in North Bay, Ontario you can buy mine for 70$, i paid 300 when it came out now there 100$ Canadian lol
this light is great! they take three halogen bulbs that you can buy at any hardware store real cheap. the only thing i dont like is the duty cycle, 10 mins on, 20 off or it will melt lol
and its very funky!

im buying one of these lights. you said you can only leave them on for ten minutes? so i could have it on like at a party for a couple of hours?

oh hell no, someone i know did that to his and it burnt out all the components in it, you need to look for non duty cycle lighting, i really suggest LED type ones. one I have been thinking of getting is the American DJ Vertigo Tri LED
