And then I say, that, I love them because they could have such a beautiful love story, if producers wanted to make it. Their characters are so different, but they complete each other. Klaus is a bad vampire, he is evil, there's no doubt, but he's hurt, and he's alone...He needs someone by his side, someone to help him. Caroline is that person, who helps people. She is a fighter; she's cheerful and funny.. Car is everything he's missing. She could be his human side, that side of him that sleeps for more than a thousand years. Their -potential- story reminds me of DE in season 1. :) That's what i love the most.
So now, you have a completely AU story. They meet, fall in love, Klaus realizes that, Caroline does too. It's too hard to fight love. They ''seal'' their love, and then, when everything seems to be perfect, Caroline dies. While Klaus was sitting in a bar, he heard, felt something bad. Then he heard a gunshot; he walks out with rage because her smile is maybe gone forever. And it is. Last scene- Caroline's funeral.

Make a space in your heart for them my friends, they deserve it. :*
