I'm a 5th generation Texan and I am Mexican American. Fort Worth is home for me and I must say that I'm truly disappointed in the ignorance and stupidity that these people are showing in their comments.. I'm a proud TEXAN................. Fort Worth is a great city and it still has a small town feel. I love Cowtown and yes, it is where the West begins.

@g2499867 sadly, almost every city along the I-35 corridor has turned into urban sprawl. You would be hard pressed to find ranches in fort worth on which to live. To find ranches you need to travel about 30 minutes to an hour east or west of the corridor.

All cowboys come from the Spanish conquistadors in Mexico which was started by charros in the state of jalisco then the modern cowboys were first found around the Texas- Mexico border..

Yeah, I live just north of Fort Worth. It's a nice place to go to. I like it better than Dallas, there are a lot of people from out of state there who really look down their noses at native Texans. Fort Worth is also good because you have less of a chance of getting shot there than in Dallas.
