Live Graffiti Art - Sam Evans painting 'People' @ Red Bull Wreckers Yard, Adelaide 2011

http://artofsamevans.com Sam Evans was one of eight Adelaide-based graffiti artists selected to compete in Redbull's Wreckers Yard street-art battle. Each contestant was given a blank canvas for each head-to-head battle, and just 12 minutes to complete their work, after being assigned a theme. The theme Sam received for this piece was 'People'- lucky for him as he has a penchant for portraiture. The talented MC/DJ combo Dialect and Despair performed on the night, with Dialect also MC's through each round of the comp and keeping the audience hyped. The Adelaide event was held at the Electric Light Hotel on June 4th, 2011 and the venue's beer garden was filled with hundreds of friendly faces from the city's hip hop and street art scene.
