I was lucky enough to be in the 10th row center seat when this was taped at Hamilton Place. It was the first time I heard "Sequel" I still get shivers when I hear it!
I loved Harry Chapin as a teen and it never changed. I mourned his early death, and like many others wonder what would have been had he lived longer. Had never heard this one before and am so glad to know he did another chapter in this story. Was priviliged to see him once at the NAU dome in Flagstaff,Az in 1978.One of my best memories. He was really larger than life, Miss you still Harry, Heaven must love your music. You are still popular 30 years after you were called home. RIP HARRY.
I got to see the love of my life for the first time in 20 years and I loved to see her smile and see where our dreams that were filled ... some times you cant find all the answers but you what I found my soul for once in 20 years and I know now which way to go ... I love you girl and I always will!! ,, It is our journey between heaven and hell.
I adored Harry Chapin, as a musician and humanitarian. I was SO lucky to have seen him perform many times in Kansas City in the 70's. The last time was 1979, front row & center at the Uptown Theatre. No other concert sticks in my memory as this one did... miss his talents and kind personality so very much.
I wonder what an impact Harry would have had on the world scene if he had lived. What a great singer, song writer and humanitarian. Rest in peace, Harry. I miss you.
