By using green sources of energy, the country can reduce its oil usage to minimize the discrepancy between the country's oil consumption and oil production.

The benefit of using green electricity can be significant. China is a prime example of this, as the country is trying to become completely green in the next two decades. The use of renewable energy has helped China in its quest for economic dominance (the country produces more oil than it uses). Recently, this proves that renewable energy has environmental and economical benefits.
