Week 6 update. Gastric Bypass Surgery. Surgery day on July 6, 2009. Today August 17 (6 weeks) down 17.7 lbs over the last 2 weeks for a total of 48.5 lbs from surgery date and 72.5 lbs including my pre-op weight loss.
Hi there! I've never followed a blog before and am really enjoying sharing your journey, so to speak. Am considering this for myself so I'm watching lots of online stuff. Glad to hear you're doing so much better. Scary stuff! You should show your whole body so we can see the changes later. Oh, by the way... you are totally HOT! lol
wow you are looking great! im very glad that you are doing better. you seem really up in spirit. I hate that they had to do the whole open thing but it was what needed to be done. Great numbers. You will definately hit the 299 and below mark this week. Great job hun!
Glad to hear you are doing better! Awesome job on the weight loss, wow! When I had my surgery, I had a roomate who had a major infection from some plastic surgery she had done, she had been in the hospital for over a month! So they were doing the wound packing with the gauze, I could hear the pain she was in when they did that, she said it was really sore around the edges of the wound. Anyway, hope you get more pain meds....take care of yourself :)
im also glad your doing well ! keep moving forward. I think its important to document even the yucky stuff. Its great for someone els who will be going threw something similar. Im so curious to see what your going to look like at the end of your journey. You look like a HUGE guy. ( Tall and muscular ) and I look forward to seeing you stay strong and getting healthy. this week i have hit 75 pounds gone, ( 3 months out ) your a boy. Boys loose so quick! Keep up the good work!
Hey...glad to see you are doing better. Do you think your health insurance would approve a nurse to come to your house for wound care? I would ask your surgeon and see what they say....I had one come for a week after my surgery for my wounds after my surgery.....worth a try I suppose
I watched the whole video - but you waved too soon!
