First Time Home Buyer Seminars - Watch out!!!

I get calls from time to time about First Time Buyer Seminars. They are being advertised and some of the callers have had the foresight to ask me if those "First Time Home Buyer Seminars" are scams.

Tough Hurtle - but I would way this, I don't know. But we have done our fair share of Seminars for Law Enforcement and Fire Department Employees. After being invited to three of these seminars held at the Los Angeles Police Academy - We were a bit dismayed.

Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department employees were in attendance and the "lender/realtor" that set this up was pitching a City of Los Angeles Home Ownership Program that was slotted for First Time Buyers.

Low and Behold - There was no program, but it was being pitched all the same.

We meet with new clients daily. We educate our clients about all aspects of Buying or Selling Real Estate. We cover the market, Short Sales, Foreclosures, REO's, Bank Owned, Escrow, Title, Termite, Home Inspections, Lending, Safe Neighborhoods, Schools, Geographical areas of Interest, and Law Enforcement inquires within any neighborhood.

First time Buyer Seminars? Yup, we do them on an individual basis - No Vendors to Please or Pitch.
