A Cup of Justice

The day in the life of someone being unjustly prosecuted is not usually so full of celebration, but thanks to Allison Margolin and her brilliant team, a cup of justice was served today.

Allison Margolin filed a writ to the appellate court, that on 11/23/11 our innocent defendants hear the decision was in their favor, a panel of judges has demanded that Judge charles sheldon allow Joe Grumbine and Joe Byron an affirmative defense! He will now also have to allow witnesses for the defense to testify, which also would have been denied.

Thanks to a good team of attorneys, supportive friends and family, and these two men that refused to back down and take a plea bargain, what happened today will now be a case law, meaning that an affirmative defense can no longer be denied anyone in a state court, and that law can be referred to as,

"The Grumbine/Bryon Case".

Court will resume this Monday where a new date for a FAIR trial might be chosen, and no protest is planned.
