@mihawk1 Nope that's normal! We have two and for every hour that their awake they spend four hours sleeping

wow thats pretty good for a five month old. it helps that saints are a little more laid back. my boy is a mix of bulldog, boxer, german shepherd, and lab retriever so its a little more complicated with him. he does it though :)

@mihawk1 I'm pretty sure it's normal. Saint's are very lazy big babies. As long as you take them out and maintain their weight, its all good. They LOVE just crashing on the couch as long as they aren't alone. If they are just in the same room as their human they will be very content. Lazy and sleeping half the day is perfectly normal. Unless it's a puppy, (around a year or younger) it may be a bit bad cuz they should be hyper, but i wouldnt worry until it no longer wants to go out. then worry.

This is nothing! My saint is a week shy of 4 months and she knows Stand-Stay, Sit, Sit-Stay, Down, Down-Stay, Come, Go, Yes, No, Up, Off, Shake, Heel, Halt, Gentle, Speak, Drop-It and Find. Sounds to me like you should work with him a little more often.

my St. Bernard spends more that half the day sleeping.. Is that normal or is he just lazy? because i take him for walks and play for him at the park so i know hes not outta shape.
