12'' Subwoofer Ma Audio

I have a $250 sub on a $300 memphis amp and it doesn't sound as good as i thought it should

turning the sub around doesnt make an automatic 3 db loss. turning it around makes you gain enclosure space instead of losing it.

@scdork Believe me, you will see a diff. when you use a deck with a dedicated sub output vs. a generic RCA out.

Some tuning would help, but I think the fault may be in your head unit. Amp and sub rely on good clean signals to be efficient. Also, make sure you have the proper cables / wires...

it has to be the head unit because my two pioneer walmart 12s and a jensen 4 channel sound better %100 not hatin

Nice set up try putting the magnet inside the box and have the port facing your rear trunk. That makes a difference. Have you tuned your box? Or adjusted your amp that setup you have should be banging pretty good. Im in the process of taking out my system and doing 2 cvr 15s in ported box. The one i have now the box is shitty and it rattles.
