What could I learn about myself having Jon in my life....?
-
Its funny to see people posting negative comments about Jon. If you have a problem with down syndrome, then why watch this video in the first place? Take your ignorance elsewhere. It's people like Jon who should inspire people to focus on everyone around them and not to be so selfish, self centered and concerning themselves on what is on the outside of someone but what is on the inside.

@rrrevan You can learn alot about yourself by having someone like Jon in your life. I would have to wager that you are nothing more than an ignorant selfish prick...
-
@markusmoor3 Really? Why do you have to be so ignorant. Grow up!

54 Cents every 2 weeks? That's bullshit. WHY THE FUCK? WHY? That's stupid!

@dania4510001 to him it's not weird. It's something he enjoys doing.
-
@rrrevan I really hope that someday you learn kindness and not to judge others. Until then, i'll pray for you.

I'm sorry, but if I had detected this early into the pregnancy, I would have terminated. Some people can raise a kid with mental handicaps. I couldn't.
@rlhstl - I love how you put that- "He's glad to not be like you" ! My daughter has Down Syndrome and she is amazing and makes me proud everyday!!

I saw this on T.V. in N. Z. - a truly beautiful, realistic, moving and inspirational portrayal of Jon's life, as a person who happens to have Down's Syndrome. "The Handicapped child," poem, I would like the words to give a friend, please. Her disabled son died at 23.
She is now in a wheelchair because of a drunk driver.
Everyone has some disability, as can be clearly seen by the "blindness" and "cruelty" of some comments here.
A human being never stops being human.
Everyone is beautiful.
