This is a great song. I was just introduced to them from Austin City Limits. His particular song song sound a lot like the Drive-By Truckers.

SliknotFan they played Newcastle, UK on Wednesday evening, i went open minded as I hadn't seen them before. It was a spectacular show great playing great vocal, great songs. Basically just great. You're in for a treat next Sunday.

It's actually considered Americana, definitely country influenced but in my opinion better than the trash that the mainstream "artists" are putting out.

Shame they always have such horrible sound in the live vids on youtube. Album version of this is one of my favourite songs of the year.

i remember the first time i heard them do that tune, it was at momo's -- i felt that it had great hit song potential. it grabs you.

btw, if you go to cdbaby and check out colin brooks' "blood and water" you can see his original version of the tune, which is cool.

i don't agree with the idea that "if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything". i do agree, though, that arbitrary bullshit comments (e.g. "these guys suck") are worthless, and sometimes harmful (and legally actionable). constructive criticism, however, should always be welcome.
