Hair style: flat twist out (with 11 flat twists total)

This is just a rant on companies that sell their products based on the fact that they're all natural but still have a bunch of chemicals and such in the ingredients. I've seen lots of companies do this. I'm not buying it :P

Regarding the hierarchy of ingredients in products:

As per The Fair Packaging and Labeling Act, the listing begins with the ingredient present in the largest concentration (typically water, oil and other vehicles) and moves downward, often ending with trace elements. You shouldn't expect an active ingredient to be in the first or second spot, but if it is near the end of a long list, it is most likely present in a very small amount. (smartskincare.com)

  • I was so excited about FINALLY finding jojoba oil at the beauty store and got pretty frustrated when jojoba oil was the sixth ingredient after five complex chained chemicals.....FRUSTRATING!

Why call it jojoba oil? It should be named bitetratriphosphetylacetlite-6. Just let it all hang out...lol

  • LMFAO!

Thank you! You seem to be the only person that understands what I'm thinking when I walk into a store looking for hair products!

    CHECK your LABELS people!

  • @sheliene12 ...not only to know that there are things in it that naturals who know what not to put in there wont buy it. They didn't use to sell these product that are supposed to be natural but now they are. I go to the pharmacy and get things like castor oil and lavender oils and such and I make my own conditioners which work for me. I just laugh.

  • Wait a minute though!! Just yesterday I went to the beauty supply store to look for ponytails with the drawstrings. I noticed something in the hair product sections that were not there before. "natural" oils that look like they are worth something like castor oil, jojoba oils avacado oils and stuff and I read the back and every last one of them had petroleum in it. I was like what? Now the Korean hair supply stores are trying to jump on the natural bandwagon....continued....

  • @Dominick574

She said in the beginning of the video that she was talking about hair products...not people.

  • Okay I have been natural for a few years, but am only now getting seriously into hair care. I have been watching a lot of videos on natural hair care maintenance. I switched from using NEXXUS to what I thought was a natural shampoo and conditioner by Organix. I bought then looked at the label and saw chloride and cetyl alcohol.

  • I agree...but this could've been more productive. Any suggestions on how to find a REAL natural product?

  • then your looking for organic products not natural

  • It bothers you, wow get a life.. People can use whatever they want to in their... I'm 10 months natural, if I want to use heat or or anything I wanna.. It's none of your dam business.. This video is crap I wish I can dislike it 10 million times..

  • Well.....I didn't even know that about the list of ingredients...thanks.

  • Thank you! Same problem I had when I shop for natural hair products. I have resigned myself to mixing up my own with oils and raw shea butter and using my blacksoap mixture for shampoo. My hair loves it!
