My goodness! Alexander shatters every window with his voice alone!
-
Another wonderful show of Alexander's wonderful voice, though I agree it is annoying when it cuts off right in the middle.

This kid is really good! It's always stunning to hear a little child singing with an almost mature voice, but he's great!
(I'm singing this with my choir, and I love it! ^^)

Double wow!

Wow!

soloists come and go in this great choir, but I do think that none has every quite matched the stylistic awareness that alex puts into this singing. The phrasing and shaping in this is just beautiful, plust the energy he puts into it.

umm...I don't think that calling that person an idiot would win you any points with that person.
Perhaps the camera died and this was all he could get. For that, I'm grateful.

What kind of idiot would film just this short excerpt? Methinks someone is keeping the rest of this footage from us. Someone find it and post it - I know it exists!
-
such a shame the rest of it was not captured...alex would've been superb in the "O for the wings"
-
beautiful!

there's a moment a *sigh* in the music that Alexander does with such style. It's wonderful.
I don't suppose anyone has the actual "O for the wings" part? because that would be sublime.

Is anything by Mr. Lischke on iTunes? 'Cuz that would be AWESOME.
Indeed he is! And here he is singing the solo in Mendelssohn's "Hör mein Bitten - O könnt' ich fliegen". A very long piece mostly known in its English version "Hear my prayer - Oh for the wings of a dove". A very demanding piece for the soloist, who carries alone about 70% of the piece.
