I was in New York whenn I was 17 I am now 60. Even back then I saw the horse we were supposed to get into was tired and sick and I refused. Don't people have eyes or hearts any more? Where is the Mayor and other people who are supposed to care about the cithy and the animals???????

Why some people pay money to contribute to horse torture is beyond me. Theses horses are clearly miserable. It makes me so sad to think about theses poor horses conditions, and yes alot of the time they do go to slaughter.

The work that these horses do is less of an issue than the housing provisions that are availible to them- it is clearly not adequate. Having said that, if you told me that after all the work they have done that they ended up being put to slaughter as opposed to pasture, then perhaps I might be really pissed.
