This is my own arrangement of George Gershwin's Summertime, basically constructed around min, min/maj 7, min7 and min6 chords of Em and Am.

  • Thanks very much. Yes, standard tuning in Em. Em Emmaj7,Em7, Em6 run down on 4th string - Em6 (042000) then Am (same sequence run down on 3rd string) back to Em, I think then to B7 after going quickly through G, A7. That's about it except you can also play the Em up on the 5th fret 075000 with run down on the 5th string and the Am same position 007500 run down on 4th string. This chord sequence is fun to play around with.
