The 2007 Mets: A Historic Collapse

Before I say anything I just want you guys to know that I'm a huge Met fan... I just had to do this for reasons that I don't even know.

The Mets were rolling along in 2007 before blowing a 7 game lead with 17 games left to play. It was the saddest thing that many Met fans have ever witnessed on a baseball field.

Please leave comments and suggestions and nothing stupid like "Mets suck" because they aren't funny anymore and we Met fans know that they suck.

Also remember June 12, 2009. Probably the Mets' most miserrable defeat by the Yankees. When they had the lead(8-7), A-Rod hit a pop-up, and then Mr. Luis Castillo drops the pop-up which causes the Yankees to win that game. That right there shows how the Mets are probably the biggest choke harvests in Baseball history.

Mets will always be the scum of the NL East. They're still mad because we took their precious pennant in 2007 and we won a WS on their asses the next year, and dropped their asses all the way to third place last season, and they're still crying and moaning about how we "cheated" and our strike zone is "bigger" then everyone else's.

When in reality, Met fans are some of the whiniest people in the entire MLB who pull every imaginable excuse out of their asses just to make themselves feel better.
