Cristian pretend cooking. The importance of role play for autistic children allows them to familiarize themselves with reality. Engaging proactively through interpretation and speech. So proud of my Son who is unique and full of wisdom. Autism is not always a disability....but a gift in need of direction! Cristian was over 3 years old year.

  • Kid is gonna be a world class chef. No doubt.

  • @silvermoonwolf19 LOL I hope so he can cook for me.

  • Wow... I wish I had a mother like you tbh. In my 21 years of life my mom has only told me that she has hated me, wished I was never concieved, etc etc

I'm sorry to hear that he is autistic, but I am also happy to see he has someone as loving as you to take care of him :)

  • @Stitchmaniac2 Thank you! I did not have great parents either. In fact, I lived with my Mother off and on for about 8 years only. I've been a ward of the court, lived with family and never had a structured home. Have faith in yourself and be the parent/ person you want to be. You have the power to NOT be like your Mother. I would remind myself of that every morning when I was about 7 years old and lived by that mantra for years. Be the example and the difference in your life. :-)

  • This is so sweet. It's rare to see parents spend time with their kids now-a-days. They're too dependent on electronic toys instead of human interaction. Thumbs up for you :)

  • @eggyolksam Thank you! We try our best! We actually just elimated television and it has been the best thing we've done ever. Children will occupy themselves with play and we truly get to spend quality time with them. Best thing we have ever done! Weekends are the exception with morning cartoons/ movies. But truly a blessing!

  • @WildCherry7777 : H'es Autistic! If you were educated enough, you would know that I am talking to him appropriately. BTW, you shouldn't let your kids watch Youtube without adult supervision. You never know what material they may come across that's not appropriate. Although may child(ren) may not be as perfect as yours or my voice not as appealing, I do appreciate and love them for who they are. Its a shame to have such narrow minded people in this world.
