First ride of the Nighthawk

I had the camera mounted to the speedo/tach console with tape, so obviously it's shakey but it gives you the idea about the ride.

first ride of the nighthawk, or first ride of a motorcycle in general? i understand the shaking but my god you drove slow surprised you didn't fall over. i think the shaking was intended to make you seem faster

Well the reason I was riding real slow is because I got the bike from a friend, he had it sitting outside for 5 years uncovered. Before this point in time I had been doing a lot of work on it to get it running and ridable. Also from sitting outside for that long, I'm sure you know about weather cracks, but the tires had extremely deep cracks in them and not just in a couple places, all over the tires. That's why I was riding it slow, I've got new tires put on and i'm working on it to run better.

No I hate the shaking, I posted it because if you read the title it says first ride of the Nighthawk. That means it was the first ride of my Nighthawk and I wanted to post it even if it's shitty, look for first in helmet ride of the nighthawk if you don't like the shaking.

lol, that is the only time I will ever mount a camera to a bike. Next video I'll have a camera in my helmet, that might be awhile though. The one I used here is way too big to fit in my helmet.

It's great to see it up and running! Now you just need to get a helmet cam setup (that's a journey in and of itself. I'm still not satisfied with mine). Can't wait till you start vlogging. I bet Idaho has some gorgeous scenery. I've always wanted to visit.
