  • Omaha Beach should have been left untouched and not ended up as a tourist attraction its the least we could have done to respect the many men who were killed there

  • Yes, there are still many bunkers along the Normandy Beaches, but these 2 from the film Saving Private Ryan never excist, and I know it I'm going every year to Normandy. Also not all these bunkers are at Omaha Beach you see in the "Now" version of this video...

  • Yes, real german bunkers are still along the coast by Omaha Beach, I was just there 6 month ago (2010). But also I would say yes some of these are different and some I have seen and photographed.

The trip is quite worthwhile.....nice countryside too and it is nice to see how it has recovered without erasing history. I was also in France in 1944.....

  • I wonder if u could still find bodies that were never found.

  • @Elieeeeboy These bunkers has nothing to do with omaha beach, the footage is shot in ireland for the film Saving Private Ryan. These two bunkers never excist!

  • @Elieeeeboy Actually to be more specific, at the foundation of one of those big bunkers, there is a memorial there, for the German soldiers that died defending the beach, though my memory is a tad hazey...it was either U.S. Servicemen, or the Germans.

  • @GodOfWar221 oh thnx! i have been there i think 3 times and you're right there are are still some remaining bunkers.

  • @Elieeeeboy demolished, or destroyed during the pass of time. I've been to Omaha Beach with my father, you can still find some bunkers here and there, most of the big ones are gone though. You can find the foundations of them though.

  • @ERICKSKIE23 they goed to a pizza
