I wonder if mermaids few our world the same way...I mean all my day is made up of is bed, school, school, school, home, TV, bed and that repeats...doesnt sound like so much to me...

I don't know why people want to be mermaids, I admit it's cool, how they are and everything, but being in such a big sea with nothing to see and not much to do can make you very lonely. That's why the sea has such a big characteristic of being known for it's loneliness. That's one of the reasons why Ariel wanted to become human, not just for her love, but also because she knew there were bigger things out there and she was getting sick of such a sea.

If I were Ariel, I'd miss the sea A LOT. It's part of her and who she is. It's her true form, to be a mermaid. As a human, I'd think she'd miss her own form.

@kumani90 you can be lonely on land too and be surronded by people. There a bigger this in the ocean and on land. Both are nice places, but i feel at home in the ocean/water.
