Joe the Clay Guy and the Crystal Sword (A.K.A. Joe the Clay Guy 2)

I'm back everyone, and so is Joe!

In case you are wondering, yes, this was also a contest video I made for a couple of different ones. This is the longer uncut version. There was also a shortened version for a separate contest in order to fit the timeline.

Story: Joe the Clay Guy has decided it's time to leave the old dining room table and go searching for treasure. After doing a bit of research, the 3-inch-tall man sets out on his motorcycle to find the cave that houses legendary Crystal Sword. Armed only with his newly-refurbished black-hilted Toothpick Sword and a map, Joe enters the cave. Little does he know of the monsters inside looking for decent meal!

  • Hello!

I randomly found your video and I very much apreciated it!

So, can you tell me what kind of clay did you use for it?

  • @RidleyCA Glad you liked it! For Joe I used Fimo soft clay and baked the main body so it would become solid and I just left the arms, eyes, and mouth soft so they could be animated (except for scenes such as when he gets thrown against the wall and splatters where I used a playdoh model instead). As for the monsters I just used playdoh.

  • very nicely you clay guy was very smooth what kind of clay was it???

  • @djTiia Fimo soft clay I believe.

  • awesome video do you plan on being a director when you grow up because you are really good at claymation and stopmotions

  • @yodawithsunglasses That's what I'm planning on, and thanks! :D
