DODA To Jest To vs. FOUNTAINHEADS Circles

In 2007 the Polish artist Doda released the single "To Jest To" and had a big hit in Poland with the track released by Universal Music..... BUT no one told the public that the song was stolen!
The songs was written by members of the Norwegian band Fountainheads and called "Circles". The songs was released on their debut album "Album of the Day" in 2006. The song and the production was stolen by someone working in the studio when the band recorded a demo for "Circles" in Stockholm. This person later brought the song to Poland and pretended the song was written by him. Doda and Universal Music Poland has been informed about this but has done nothing to stop the exploitation of the song or pay the rightful owner.

first doda's album was from publishing in 50% and this song is one of them. this song was supposed to be a single and she sang it once or twice on tv, but then she was informed that song is stolen. on reedidion of her album we cannot find this song and she promised not to sing it any more. and it wasn't a huge hit in poland. no one knows it. only her fans. the same thing we can say about other songs by doda. fthe poodles used "judasze" in their "flesh and blood". it's just music from publishing.

The song from Fountainheads doesn't make sense at all. Has no meaningful words; probably that is why i didn't know who Fountainheads were. However, the beat is pretty cool. Doda only used the beat and added words that are so meaningful, very different from Fountainheads. Doda used this awesome beat much better. I cant blame her. And by the way, everyone is using others beats, its called music. Just to point out Artists Such as Beyonce,Pitbull, and some other artist used other artists beats too

DODA is the best! and even if it was a fountainhead's song , DODA's version is much more better!

no niestety wiekszosc obecnych utworów jest już koverami.. za to została skrytykowana muzyka disco polo.. i to wlasnie przez takich jak doda piasek itd..

@agusianwl To nie jest cover, a to, że Doda nagrała "To jest to" pod muzykę Fountainheads było po prostu plagiatem. Nieświadomym, gdyż domniemany "producent" podsunął utwór Dodzie i Universalowi oszukując, iż jest właścicielem praw do kompozycji, tudzież autorem. Doda i Universal spory czas temu przyznali, iż zostali wprowadzeni w błąd.

Doda NIE nabyła praw do tej piosenki, bo "oficjalnie" należała ona do producenta/writer'a, który podsunął ją Dodzie i Universalowi, oszukując, iż posiada prawa do utworu. Doda i Universal spory czas tamu oświadczyli już, że zostali wprowadzeni w błąd. Reszta sprawy została załatwiona za kulisami, tyle.
