Indy Connect Day at the 2011 Indiana State Fair offered fairgoers an up-close look at the proposed transportation plan. One common question was "How is Bus Rapid Transit different from a traditional bus system?" In this video, Lori Miser, Executive Director of the MPO, explains the difference.

  • So unimpressed. I don't think Indy Connect gets it at all. This is our current system with ONE rail line, new buses and bus stops that actually have a route plan and timetable at them. It's a step forward, but can we really accept that this is all that we are going to accomplish in the next decade? We could have route plans and timetables at bus stops next week if IndyGo cared about their customers.
