This is a Remington 870 Tactical jamming from a fired Winchester Super X shell. The only way to unjam this particular way is to slam open the chamber by holding the forend and hitting the stock against the ground. The 870 cannot be taken apart with the chamber closed, so you must open it first.

  • You need do activate the pump-release ;D

  • @theroyalgrapefruit Hahaha not that simple bud, we aren't idiots. It's called a jam for a reason ;)

  • Yea its these cheap winchester loads, don't slam ur butt into the ground, hold the pump release and slide it back hard and fast (no pun intended)

  • @TheKoukiMonster that doesn't work on this particular jam. It requires force or probably the solution that KSIFLYBOY suggested

  • the same thing happened to me with winchester x loads, they are not meant for this gun apparently, I stick to remington shells.

  • @TheKoukiMonster ok ok thanks for the correction! Luckily I was able to fix it by sliding the foregrip really hard

  • @KSIFLYBOY That's sounds like a good safe way to fix it. I will try that method if it ever happens again.

  • @StormForceTac what I did when confronted with this jam (due to expanding metal in the chamber getting stuck) was unscrew magazine cap and pull the barrel off about 1" (as far as it would allow) and use my leatherman's knife to pull back the extractor, then with the barrel/spent shell off, I again used my knife to pry out the shell. You can send it to remington (if under warranty) or have a gunsmith polish the chamber & check for blemishes. Bulk federal usually doesn't cause this.
