SUNSET IMPROVISATION - Sennen Cove, Cornwall

Just messing around outside our holiday cottage high above Sennen Cove, a beautiful bay, right on the tip of Cornwall. If I swam out to sea here, the next stop would be Newfoundland.

This improv goes on a bit, but at 3'30" there is a new technique used. I call it finger drumming. I hit the top of the uke with my fingers just after hitting the strings. The trick is to get an intricate rhythm going while you are playing a tune or chords.

very nice, very sennen, but you should try nanjizal cove??? sennen is the jewel but nanjizal is the crown.

Wow, the scenery is beautiful! I always love your improvs, especially the long ones, as you know. :-) Just tried the technique you've used. Bit scared about breaking my uke, or my nails, or my neck, but I can do it – yay! :-) X
