what's left is a dry isolated music with fake respect built around it which repells the common member of society like what's happened in iran now.
Sorry, don't mean to insult you or your taste but extreme sonnateeism is the main cause of all shamefull cheap LA pop songs as the only alternative for the common people to turn to

so why don't you keep watching your dry, dead formalized sonnati, videos and leave the old morshed and his limited but amazing skills alone?
Sonnati has distroyed real Iranian music just like what classical music did in europe. to the extend that only a certain "CLASS" of people would listen to it now and the rest find it boring. OF course, when you take loud percussion, unquantized rhythms, sorna dohol, and all mahalli instruments out of music...
