I don't know how any Canadian could look at America and think we have rational drug laws and try to emulate them. It's a nightmare down here. The DEA STILL raid dispenceries in Calfornia despite the President saying it wouldn't happen any more. So be careful candians who don't want to get involved. Once you get these laws they are rediculously hard to get rid of. An ouce of prevention and all that.

If Cannabis saves enough people from dying, the money biasing people won't actually be able to stop it. They could go around jailing sick people and appropriating their dwellings and making them die on the street, but it's still only a matter of time. Apparently big pharma can actually patent this plant for personal profit. That will be the next big battle.

You know, Insurance companies, Doctors, big pharma and an entire banking and legal industry depend on you having physical disasters that only they are legally allowed to help you with. They kind of hope you die in pain, while taking all your money. It's just modern ethics and economics. It's just the modern classist bias. Once you are on the bias or have taken money from being on the bias, you won't give a crap about actually helping people, It's how civilization tends to "progress".
