The Indiana All-Stars is made up of the best high school basketball players in the state. After a win over Kentucky Saturday, South Bend's Skylar Diggins was ready to give the Hoosier state the sweep.
Indiana Miss Basketball Skylar Diggins scored 29 points, 25 in the second-half, as the Indiana Girls' All-Stars rallied Sunday for an 85-75 win over the Kentucky Girls' All-Stars and a sweep of the annual series.
Diggins, from South Bend Washington High, who has signed to play at Notre Dame, made eight of 12 shots from the field and had 3 rebounds and 3 steals to lead the Hoosiers at Bellarmine University.
Penn's Lily Svete was 3-for-3 from the field for 8 points with 2 assists.
Indiana leads in the series 38-30 and has won 10 of the last 13. It was the Hoosiers' 13th sweep.
Indiana always beat my Kentucky boys in HS all-star basketball. Indiana just simply has more HS talent. To bad for IU, they just can't keep the talent in-state.
They much rather go to DAHVILLE
