A hugely sensitive reporter weaves a magic tale of Angola's 100,000 street children, separated from their families by the war. These little vagabonds teach us how to survive in one of the most dangerous countries on earth - Angola. With ragged T-shirts, bare feet, scabby-knees and wide-eyes, they admit that they feast on other people's garbage.

  • god, this is so sad. how can any one of us complain about insignificant things in our lives when these poor children are scavanging for food and struggling to survive?

  • Angola was a beautiful country while the portuguese were there, once they left the country turned into a massacre

  • That is true, though.

  • no man portugal just gave independence to angola and there where 3 parties at the time in angola! after the portuguese gave the independence the war started over diamond, oil, rubis etc... angola is one of the most rich country in africa! you need to learn a bit more about my culture! i come from the both sides im half angolan half portuguese so i know what im talking about!

  • not really

  • Portugal brokered a "peace agreement" between the two black parties in 1974, the Portuguese left, 30 years of war after they dishonored it.
