@squizzoo in the united states our cars are rated lower than actual fuel mileage now days. I had a car that was rated for 28mpg (US gallons) highway and 18mpg city... In mixed driving i got 27 to 28mpg and on the highway w/ a light foot i got a tick over 30mpg (in a chevy impala 3.5L w/ 4T65E four-speed automatic transaxle & a curb weight of some 3700lbs) A ford Fiesta is rated for 29mpg city and 40mpg highway and im sure it does at least that... Remember American Gallons are smaller than in UK
