There has to be a good reason the cat needed help. Usually they're pretty easy to right.

nice

oh yea man i hate that!!!but i can still get it over
-
Amen to that... a lil' Sunfish with a sail full of water is nearly impossible to pull up!
-
yea well i know now wat u mean cause i sailed the worlds longest river race this weekend and i was on a hobie 16 and we got it in bout 2mins. yea man my sail instructors tell us that all the time uncleat the main sheet or u will never get it over
-
I raced Hobies for 20+ years... 2 mins is if EVERYTHING goes right and you're motivated. If the wind is strong enough to blow you over... it can blow you back up!
I just re-watched this video for the first time in a long time - HIS MAIN SHEET WAS CLEATED THE WHOLE TIME! That's about 1000 pounds of water resistance right there... amateur, but at least he had people around to help.

wow i have no clue wat ur talkin bout...there was wat 1 guy tryin to rigt it??i have a 16 and a 18 it takes 4 ever well that might be just because im a kid but for it to take 2min. to right it would have to have like a fat kid or more than 1 person thats way it took that long...but that was funny u should go back to sunfish!haha
-
jeez all those idiots in the motor boats nearly ran it over
Righting a Hobie 16 should take less than 2 mins WITHOUT the motorboat... that guy should go back to a Sunfish
