I love the end of this game, but I have to say whomever was running the clock was on UCLA's side - it ticks down at least a full second to 2.6 after the ref blows the whistle after the last steal.
While the fall call against Bautista was questionable, you guys need to remember that Collison earlier made a fast break basket and was called for a ridiculous charge. They took away that basket. This foul did not really "cost" the game if the asshole officials didn't blow that call on Collison. UCLA was VERY LUCKY to win this game, but give UCLA credit - they fought back. Hollins making FT's? LOL. Everything that needed to happen - happened.
The reason Gonzaga lost this game is because Mark Few is a pussy in close game situations. When they have a lead in the second half against a good team, Few likes to waste the clock. Instead of increasing the lead he likes to waste time and hope the other team doesn't catch up. He did the same thing when Gonzaga was ranked 2nd and they lost to Nevada.
I remember watching this game a few years ago. I thought then and I think now that Morrison showed a SEVERE lack of leadership at the end of this game. There were still 2.5 seconds left and his team was only down by 1. I understand that the other team had the ball so it's not a great situation to be in. But still, you just NEVER KNOW and have to keep playing and see what happens. What you DON'T do in this situation, is just start LITERALLY crying as if the game is already over.

Plus, don't a lot of coaches do that kind of clock management? Not just in basketball but in football?
