@TigerMeet2142 You should check the wattage of the earphones and then the wattage of your player/phone/whatever. If you tweak the wattage of the player, the earphones coil can't handle it so it burns out and starts cracking on lower frequencies.

same bs happened to my skullcandy inkds. and then fricken sent em in to them on the warranty and they never replied, or the mailman stole em x)

my earphone always break..... the sound get quite and it cracks when bass tones are playing.... maybe its the way i use it, im not really carefull

I bought the same one.

In comparison to my old (mx 200) headphones they have much more high end and presence and a strong bass, but not too strong. The upper mid range isn't nasty unlike the most cheap headphones.
