@youknowstevo What the hell are you talking about? More than 50% of my income goes to the government in one way or another. Income (both state and federal), Property tax, Sales tax, and a myriad of other taxes that 500 characters won't cover. I think you need to do a little better accounting of where your money goes my friend.

What health reform has to do with Religion?
1. Religious believe that if you die its cause God decided it.
2. If you recover from a serious illness then its because God made a miracle.
This health reform its all about real life stuff not a nice fantasy that keeps you going. Keep it to your self.

Add up all your financial expenditures....
How much goes to the Gov.?,
How much goes to Wall mart, rent(or mortgage), Utility Co., Insurance Co., Loan payments, etc.
I don't know about you, but the vast majority of my money goes to private industry company profits. Not public welfare. If we could, I'd say do away with gov all together and then people would see how much they NEED it.

I agree. No matter what party, the dollar has become God. As long as "we the people" allow ourselves to be manipulated for profit, nothing will change. I do agree that Gov has been the problem in the past, but I also believe that our only real hope of changing the curcumstances now is to spread as much accurate information as possible. This is an info war.

Very well put, it seems the contradiction is so obvious but these people are led to believe they're right. It really scares me when the whole premise of Jesus's message is trampled by the very people that use religion as a political motivator. It brings up questions of who or what is truly behind their rage.

thanks for your reply back on my page. the thing people in this country don't realize is that government has been the problem (not the solution) with healthcare in this country for the last 45 years. Democrats and Republicans alike make a TON of money off the healthcare system and big pharmaceutical companies. But nobody wants to discuss that. They just want to yell or force there views(which are usually wrong on both sides) WAKE UP AMERICA! The 2 party system is actually a 1 party system.

the thing everybody in this country seems to forget is WHY healthcare costs are so high. The reason is federal and state regulations imposed by the federal govt. Did you know we are not allowed to go outside our state to shop for for health insurance? And that only 2% of the healthcare system in the U.S. is actually "free market"? I agree the morons at these meetings should come armed with a few more facts about the healthcare system in this country. But the govt. is too involved in the 1st plce
