  • Thanks. It's a good example of how language learners can be helpful colleagues to each other in this great linguistic adventure.

Also, sorry to be picky but shouldn't your title be "An example of Constructive Criticism"?

  • Oh, wow..thanks for pointing that out for me.

  • Oh man...I tried to help you and you are making a video about it. :-D But I agree, the general climate here at youtube is very rough and negative. Thats why I don't read or write comments very often. I am german by the way. But my girlfriend is russian, thats why I learned the language and spent already much time in the country...

  • I really do appreciate it.

  • This is true, but then you also have to take into account that you're dealing with the internet - There are so many trolls, it's not even funny. The people who are actually sincere on the internet are a rare breed.

  • Yea, you're right.

  • Unlike most other parts of Europe, in Russia very less people know a foreign language, so you are forced to converse in russian all the time and improve very quick. I appreciate your videos very much, because they motivate other persons to learn foreign languages.

I am looking forward to see you speaking german one day. ;-)

  • Aren't Russians one of the most racist people in the world, more so than the English. Why would you want to learn KKK language?

  • I once heard something about the "feedback hamburger". First, you say something positive, then as the steak and salad you give constructive criticism and finally you say something positive/encouraging again. :) It's a bit silly but it works !

  • Russian is definately a tough language to begin to learn (I have a list of the Cryllic characters, but I think I need to study the script a little more in depth).

Also weak in Spanish at the moment mainly because I studied in middle school and need to get back into studying the syntax, not just the grammar. That was my mistake.

My Chinese needs work on the rising and long intonation. I was lucky to score a good book for just $10 with a good phrase book to boot.
