Super Mario World - Yoshi's Island 3 - 259

"259" means that I finished with 259 ticks left on the game's timer. When running this game, I start each level as small Mario, because less easy access to the cape makes speed runs much more interesting.

Also, note that the PAL (European) version can get faster times than the NTSC (US/JP) versions, due to timer inconsistencies. My run was done on NTSC.

As for this level, keeping your running animation throughout the level gets you at least 258, but you may need to consider another thing for 259. Make sure to take any opportunity to ride platforms while they are moving to the right. Conversely, don't touch any platforms that are moving to the left. When you're running on a moving platform, your resulting speed is the speed of the platform plus your normal running speed.
