It is very important for every pianist, from beginning student to advanced performer, to sit properly at the piano to avoid injury and enjoy fluency and ease of movement. This video covers pretty much everything you need to know but were afraid to ask :)

  • Well I Never new that about MIddle C wow lol I am self taught so this has been a great help ( But when you see a pianist on tv they are pretty frantic by moving in every direction possible is this a Bad thing or shows expression 8)

    In answer to your question, picture this: you are at a carnival trying to win a prize by shooting those little metal ducks with an air gun but instead of standing on the ground you are standing on a giant rubber ball :()
