Glasspacks don't do it any justice. I tried a thrush glasspack and then a flowmaster muffler on my old 2002 S-10. I cut them both off cause it was too quiet and ricey. So I straight-piped it and brought it out the right side in front of the rear tire. Gave it a nice deep, growl and cackle. And it was loud.

hey what was acting up about your catalitic convertor. Was it making the truck loose power going up hill at a higher speed? Which cat did you remove the one right under the passenger side a few inches down form that sensor on the exhaust pipe? i would appreciate an answer Thanks

well, It gradually lost power since two years I have it. I didn't really notice that lost of power. And it gave me a DTC trouble code :P0101 Mass air flow. Then I find out even if it's an electronic controled timing advance, my timing distributor was not timed correctly. The engine did not burned his fuel correctly so the catalitic convertor melted and stuffed itself inside. That's why I removed the junk inside and put it back empty. And I made a modification to set my timing back to 0'degress.

yes, it was the two catalitic convertors under the passenger side. The're is a small pre-cat and the big one with the o2 sensor. I put a o2 sensor simulator so the ECM didn't gave me a DTC. Did not have any trouble since.

@burncy where did u get the O2 sensor simulator ? I bought this little elbow thing that moved the o2 sensor from direct air flow it made the code go away for a little while but it eventually came back the same. I think the elbow was from big daddiesgarage i think i can't remember.

@comal89 I got that simulator from somewhere on the net. My code also came back, but i think the cold weather makes it code.
