cold touch really helps so try that against "fire creature-things" or "scamps" instead of another fireball

To everyone who is having trouble because of level:

Oblivion's leveling system is kinda broken. If you don't spend TONS of time working on your Endurance, you will have really low health.  The only way to keep up with the rest of the world is to have at least +3's on each of your leveled-up attributes.

The world levels up with you, and you have to stay ahead of it to survive. You could finish the main quest at level 2, practically.

Someone tell me what the hell's going on! I walked into the gate but this never happened, i just went right through it and went straight for the door behind, i never went to that weird place!

ive done this bit but wen i return i talk to martin the savilus and savilus says there is more to be done inside the city walls...i just cant find the walk through for defeating the demons inside the walls...and they are tough...u got the big ice monsters...the dinosaur thingy and loads more tough demons...doing the demon gate for kvatch was simple compared to wat awaits downstairs in the chapel...
