These trains are obviously capable of performing well at high speed. It's a bit disappointing for me to see them prinicipally rolling round the commuter rails of Kent. I'd prefer to see them operating on one of our main routes. I can only assume they are not because we already have trains operating at speed limits on the longer distance services.

the class 395 locomotve is the best thing to happen to the south eastern railway system since the HS1 (CTRL) was completed. allowing eurostar quality service on the old and tatered remains of the older train lines. i just hope they keep the ticket prices at a resonable level

No, as it's heading Folkestone way, HS1 would take it straight to the tunnel, there are no line changes, so it comes off at ashford

Awesome video! I wanted to see some Javelins when I went to Westenhanger, but I was freezing cold so I didn't stay! Lol.
