roddy piper is pretty uneducated about that, snuka could do a splash off the top rope night after night, the biggest thing snuka ever did was the dive off the cage onto muraco, when you compare that to HIAC KOTR 98 the two are not even in the same stratosphere

@anyoneformoney Exactly Foley had a long career and had hundreds of extremely intense matches, not just one. Piper is a giant tool for saying that. And foley didn't start backyard wrestling. That is absurd. So piper is wrong about that as well.

Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka was way ahead of his time. A pioneer.
I like Foley, aways did. But Foley isnt even in the same city, non-the-less in the same ballpark as the Superfly.

well the thing is when this was filmed roddy was in a BAD STATE...like he just had a negitive outlook on it all ...much like hogans over rated ass.one thing no one really holds to roddy is he had to take the biggest heat as being one of if not the biggest heal ever.

You know if you hear some of the old wrestlers talking about Roddy they make it sound like he is a bitch and that is ashame and surprising but now that i think about it he came off really tough but i didn't see him jump off on top of cage or take too many chair shots or even put his body on the line like foley fuck Roddy he is a dam bitch!!

Piper is wrong about Foley just doing it once, jumping to the outside was his finisher in WCW, pretty much what they showed in the clip with Snuka.
KOTR stands out because of the timing of the fall, it was so blatently brutal. Thats exactly what Mick wanted to happen, good psychology.

As much as I dig Piper he's full of shit here. Backyard wrestling has been around as long as there's been someone stupid enough to do it, I believe the Hardys were into that shit waaay before the Dude Love video got played on WWF TV! Also, he should know the difference between a timed, practiced splash [from however high] and a much less controlled bump from what, 15 feet up? But nope, he has to be a douche about this. I don't get why.
