Love it! I was too young to go out and see them live but my folks were big gig goers. They bought the single ´Bamboo´ which was superb as well as the B side. There were some great bands around then, Tagula Spa , Multi Story, Naked On Roller Skates, Red Beans N Rice, they all inspired me to become a bass player,20 years pro now.

Julian took over on Bass, while I joined Cocariba, then Raindance and Global Affair; also stints with Switchchord Roulette, Maracatoo, Touchdown, Around The World, Muddy River and Desperate Measures.

I just did a google search for Tagula Spa and ended up here. What a nice bunch of talented blokes they were. Many an afternoon in their rehearsal shed and The Green Man!

I played bass with Tagula Spa (jeremy Rich). I remember the deep and the band Bamboo. Loved mike doherty with no.3 blast as well. I now live in Cape Town. I havent got a single recording or video of anything Tagula did - lost contact with everyone although did hear from whitty a few years ago. If anyone has a mp3 or video, let me know. jrich@tvm.co.za

I have the video from 1986 where The Deep, Tagula Spa and Scared Of The Dark played @ St David's Hall in Cardiff. I know they are somewhere in my attic along with Tagula Spa from the BBC Wales music programme Juice. I will do my best to find them Slappa!

Tagula Spa were great. Should have been massive. We played with them quite a few times when we were The Deep. Also The Firepeople/100 Eyes were brilliant. I've googled Whitty and Clive & Stuart Smallwood but to no avail. Clive was the drummer with Tagula Spa and I can't ever remember Steve Price. Would that be Sam as in Steve price, from Blaina? I have some vids of Tagula Spa somewhere and I'm currently going through my video collection in the attic so keep your eyes peeled people!
