HTC Vivid Review Part 1

AT&T's hard at work rolling out their 4G LTE network, and with a new network comes phones that take advantage of said technology. One of AT&T's two initial 4G LTE devices is the HTC Vivid, and it's available now for $199.99. Packing a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, it rocks a 4.5-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording capabilities, a front-facing camera, 1,620 mAh battery, and Android 2.3.4 with HTC Sense 3.0. It's a feature-packed device that's housed in a beautiful body, but it goes up against a ton of other Android devices this holiday season. Can it distinguish itself? Part 1 of 2.

In Australia, this is called the HTC velocity and it's telstra's flagship 4g smartphone.
