Long Island boasts claims of the second largest Pine Barren region in the United States. Join us as we trek through a 10 mile section of this expansive forest. A two day trip spent with the very minimum of supplies. No phone, no watch, no tent, just a sleeping bag, a fire, and our will to make it to the other side by the next morning.

  • Hiking is nice but some of the pine barrens you should legally be allowed to ride quads in cause I live here too and I'm getting sick of the dec chasing me in my own backyard...

  • I too enjoy camping in the woods, and the wolves are unforgettable experience. Once we actually chased away those wolves stalking near our camp site, and built a fresh fire, because the other fire started burning down. Good video.

  • Thanks.

  • You need to learn some respect, chemicalcraige69. Unless we want to travel hundreds of miles, the pine barrens are the best place close to home for a good hike. Just because it doesn't compare to your precious cascades doesn't mean you should treat other people like crap over it. Let people do their own thing without being such an asshole. Grow up.

  • Wow, I can't stand people like chemicalcraig69. Jerks. I think your hike was pretty cool, I never went on a serious hike before, so I enjoyed this. There really aren't anything better close to home than those trails, so unless we want to travel hundreds of miles, these are the places to hike. But chemicalcraig69 is too much of an idiot to care and just wants to throw insults around. Good video.

  • The LI Pine Barrens are the second largest Pine Barrens in the United States, if that was my backyard I would be more than happy to admit so, however it is not.

  • Try not being such an asshole.
