1 Let's Play Lock On Flaming Cliffs 2.0 Mission 1 (A-10 Campaign)

This is the first campaign mission in our Let's Play of Lock On FC 2.0. I recorded the LP live, but went back and spliced in a couple of clips from the replay to give viewers a better look at what's going on during the flight. I'll probably be doing the rest of the campaign in this format...

how can you fly forward? with not the nose down or up? just straight

@aapjebanaan13 Not sure what you mean exactly, but if your flying and your nose feels like it's pulling up or down you can trim the aircraft out so it is level. You just have to map the trim to a key. Mine is set to my hat switch, so when i push up on it my noes goes up and when I push down the nose goes down...

Well, what the tower is telling you to do is fly to a point where you can turn to approach the runway from the given direction at a sufficient distance. With Batumi airbase you land on runway 13 (heading 130) which you approach from the ocean.

With regards to the waypoint cycling, note that there are 3 nav modes (i think). There's standard NAV, "Return" and "Landing". The Return point is where the tower tells you to go; Landing points you closer to the airfield I believe than return.

@AxiamWolfe Thanks for the tips! I just figured tower would want me to land in the same direction that I took off in. I think that's what confused me. I'll follow towers request next mission...

I don't get it. I follow the waypoints and I get the "Target marked with yellow smoke" thing. I can clearly see the runway north of the bridge, just outside of the city but there are no targets near it.
