I am not familiar with the rigid heddle loom, but the more I watch these videos, the more I want one. I really like your idea of finishing the sides of the pillow with knitting, it is really cute.
I trim my baby blankets with a crocheted edge which makes the edges smooth and even. I also like to use yarn and buy the skeins / balls at the retail store when they come on sale. I try to get those that will not shrink and are easy to care for.

Just interested in weaving. I didn't know until these last two videos that you needed to leave the yarn at an angle before beating in place. Good to know.
