Pro Mujer, a women's development and microfinance organization, joined the Clinton Global Initiative in the fight against poverty. Pro Mujer CEO Rosario Perez represented Pro Mujer at the 5th Annual Clinton Global Initiative meeting in NY. Pro Mujer's commitment was selected to be announced by President Clinton and the CEO of Care at the opening ceremony. Pro Mujer has committed to serving 350,000 women by 2012, impacting the lives of 1.7 million children and family members through microfinance, health care, and business training.
